You can also shop in the Apple Store, a popular Texas tourist stop, which sells freshly baked apple pie and apple bread. You can spread their apple butter on the bread for a double dose of apple flavor. They sell ice cream, turnovers, cookies, apple cider stuff, sandwiches, and much more. “You’ll swear you smell a spice-scented candle when you walk in the front door, but it’s really the apple-rific offerings at this small white frame house with apple-red trim,” writes Texas Monthly.
And the magazine named its apple pie as one of their favorite pies in Texas.” One apple pie contains five pounds of Pink Lady, Granny Smith, or Jonathan apples.

Great Hill Country Pumpkin Patch

In October, the Pumpkin Patch opens to the public every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10 am to 4 pm. You can do a lot more than finding that perfect pumpkin to take home. So be sure to come early to catch all the activities.
It only costs $6 for kids ages 3 and older. (Half price for those with an Active Military ID.) After you buy your pumpkin, you can paint it. No worries about shopping for paint and cleaning up the mess when you get home. Admission also includes visiting the farm animals, hayrides, hay maze, scarecrow building, and playing an instrument in the Great Hill Country Symphony.
