ADVANCING A LIFELONG LOVE OF LEARNING.
At TRACE, an outstanding education is a part of the landscape. The acclaimed San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District (SMCISD) offers students an exceptional academic curriculum as well as a full roster of athletic programs and diverse extracurricular activities.
Beyond secondary school, San Marcos itself is home to Texas State University. And with the University of Texas at Austin, Saint Edward’s University, Southwestern University and UT-San Antonio nearby, there are incredible opportunities for people of all ages to learn and excel.
Children living at TRACE will be educated at several high-achieving schools.
Future Elementary School in TRACE
TRACE has allocated land for a future San Marcos CISD elementary school which, when completed, will serve young students right in our community. This will allow kids the freedom to walk or ride their bikes to classes while offering parents the convenience of an onsite campus.
Until the new elementary school is built on property, children will attend Hernandez Elementary. The school’s vision is to develop responsible, independent and resourceful individuals who have the knowledge and attitude to be successful in an ever-changing world. Here, students are valued for their individual worth in an exemplary learning environment that delivers strong scoring on state assessment tests. Visit the school website >
