Downtown Trick or Treat San Marcos

Come one, come all to the annual Downtown San Marcos Trick or Treat! Kids can trick-or-treat for treasures at the shops. They’ll also have games for the entire family and Spooky Alley for those who want a good fun scare.
Farmer Fred’s Harvest Fall Carnival
San Marcos Plaza Park (206 N CM Allen Pkwy)
Oct. 26 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department presents the annual Farmer Fred’s Harvest Fall Carnival filled with treats, pumpkins, and sweets for everyone of all ages. The festival features games, candy, prizes, costume contests by age group up to 12 years old.
San Marcos Pumpkin Patch

Find the perfect pumpkin to decorate or cook the pumpkin seeds for a delicious treat at First United Methodist Church — San Marcos. Proceeds benefit School Fuel San Marcos, a program that provides food in San Marcos schools. It will also support Project Transformation, an afterschool and summer day camp program for youth who live in low-income neighborhoods.

It’s going to be a freaky fun time at The Marc as it celebrates Halloween with lots of great after dark entertainment for adults.
Here’s the schedule of Halloween entertainment at The Marc:
- Ghastly: The Mystifying Oracle Tour: Oct. 20, 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
- Bonnie X Clyde: Oct. 25, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
- Liquid Stranger featuring LUZCID, TLZMN, Mersiv, and Lucii: Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Dia De Los Muertos 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run

Oct 27 at 8 a.m.
Get fresh air and a little exercise before the feast of candy at the annual Dia De Los Muertos 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run. They will have face painting for early birds and music by DJ Cruz/Jammin X-Press. The event honors Ofelia Vasquez-Philo who was a pillar of the community.
Proceeds go to the Johnnie T. Rosales Memorial Scholarship for selected San Marcos High School graduating seniors. It also benefits the Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos, a local cultural center and museum.
